Watercolor Flow

Immersive watercolor workshops & classes

Dates:

  • October 18, 11a - 3p ($80 per person)

  • January 23, 11a - 3pm ($80 per person)

  • April 10 - 11. 11a - 3pm ($160 per person)​

Topics covered:

  • Watercolor as a medium, paper types

  • Design and composition. What makes a good picture? ​​​

  • Values: sculpting with darks and lights​

  • Value of a limited palette to help grasp the concept of value 

  • Controlled spontaneity: flow & control of watercolors​​​​​

  • Most supplies provided, but feel free to bring your favorite brushes, paints, papers etc. 

  • Group workshops are limited to 6 people

Figure drawing sessions with a model

1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month​

  • ​​​All levels welcome! This is an open session, not a class​​

  • Bring your own supplies​​​

  • Few easels available on FCFS basis​

  • Sessions start promptly at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm for set up. ​​​

  • $25 per session or $100 for 5 (Use anytime during the open season) ​

Studio visits & 1st Saturday Artwalks

  • Studio visits are welcome -​ reach out to set up a time!​

  • Artwalks: every 1st Saturday, 4-8pm. Tour Untitled Gallery, my studio and other artists studios and galleries, maker spaces in the Steinfeld Warehouse
